Progress Report: Grandville Transportation Building Updates

Progress continues on the Grandville Transportation buildings! This campus will consist of 4 buildings in total. These buildings will include a transportation office building, a transportation maintenance building, salt storage, and a new maintenance building.

Building One: Transportation Office Building
The transportation admin office building is just about complete! This space includes multiple office spaces as well as a kitchen, break area, and lounge area for transportation staff.
Building 2: Transportation Maintenance Building
The Transportation Maintenance Building has seen great progress since our last post! This 8,500 sq. ft. is set to complete fall of 2025. Half of this building will house as space for Grandville Public Schools bussing mechanics. This half of the building will includes a bus lift and a jib crane. There will be a room for a parts storage mezzanine and offices.

The North half of the building will house the KCTC Weller Building for student use and education. This space includes a 2 post lift and a 4 post lift. The garage space will have heated floors.

Buildings Three and Four: Salt Storage and Maintenance
The 3rd and 4th buildings on the transportation facilities campus include a new salt storage space, and a new maintenance building. The new maintenance building will sit where the current office building is. It will be rebuilt. Demolition on these buildings begins June of 2025.

The transportation campus will see the most attention this upcoming summer, but Century Park Elementary School will be receiving a new boiler as well!
