Construction at the new Grandville 7/8 middle school building is well underway! One of the features of the new space is the combined basketball court/robotics arena. The gym is starting to receive its hardwood flooring, as seen in the photo below. The first two layers are placed at different angles to provide stability and support before the final 1-inch thick boards are placed and lines painted. The space is able to be divided by a partition curtain so the robots are not at risk from any stray basketballs. Check out more photos of the site below!
